Ecometrix was founded in 2004 with a mission to develop innovative solutions to environmental challenges. We apply Environmental Intelligence - science and technology - to create applications that help our clients make sound decisions related to the environment. Our goal is to empower our clients to develop effective environmental management strategies and evaluate the benefits of various scenarios quickly and economically.

Our GIS-based systems enable users to visually relate data, model components and predicted impacts on the environment over time to geographical and site features:

• EMMA is a data management tool that facilitates the storage, retrieval, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), analysis and reporting of complex environmental data.

• IMPACT is an environmental pathways model that enables users to evaluate the transport and effects of contaminants on the environment and human health. IMPACT version 5.6 is consistent with the equations outlined in Canadian Standards Association (CSA) N288.1 (2020) and CSA N288.6 (2012) for pathways analysis and calculation of doses to ecological and human receptors.

• MineMod is an interactive source term and water quality modelling tool to assess mine planning, closure and reclamation scenarios.

Using Environmental Intelligence, we help our clients make decisions and develop solutions that protect the environment and human health while taking into consideration interest group priorities and overall business objectives.
