CGI’s strategy is to anticipate and adapt to varying industry impacts at varying schedules but there are some common themes to help drive our decisions and investments.
During all of these phases, we are ready to work with our clients to leverage technology to accelerate the successful delivery of their business strategies in the following ways:

1. Respond

Are you aware of any current government challenges or opportunities that would be addressed by using your technology solution? Or a future need you can identify?
As the government enters a stage of relaxing some of the restrictions, we need to be cognizant of not venturing to far without proper measures in place to ease the population back into normalcy.
Our solutions and capabilities are based off of the 3R phased approach previously identified.
One element that we are actively engaged in is contact tracing. We recognize the need to actively identify persons who may have come into contact with an infected person and subsequently collect further information about these contacts. We have worked with several countries and provinces to assist in the implementation, maintenance, and support of such models leveraging our global reach and core competencies.

As the COVID crisis continues, please describe specific opportunities where your technology might support Canadian needs / government needs
CGI’s abilities have been proven cross industry and internationally to address pandemic issues via technology and service offerings. We also have strong partnerships and relationships, working in tandem with companies that offer solutions which directly address many of the points highlighted by the governments locally and abroad.

Across Canada and globally we are all working on responding to new opportunities created by the pandemic and we look forward to continuing to play a pivotal role throughout this difficult time, as we reemerge, and subsequently how we evolve and transform.
