Describe your company's current technology and solutions
Private AI is a Toronto- and Berlin-based startup working on making privacy preservation and GDPR compliance simple & easy. Our de-identification suite is designed to run directly on-device to strip personal data from text, images, and video using state-of-the-art AI. We support a wide range of platforms including web, iOS, Android & on-premise.

Are you aware of any current government challenges or opportunities that would be addressed by using your technology solution? Or a future need you can identify?
Our solution can be used:
1) as a filter to remove select personal data before it is sent from government servers to an employee computer,
2) to de-identify data so they can be used by data scientists,
3) to train models without being concerned about the risk of sensitive information within the training data being reverse-engineerable given a model's output,
4) to collect thermal imaging data in a privacy-preserving way,
5) to track and detect the location of personal data.

As the COVID crisis continues, please describe specific opportunities where your technology might support Canadian needs / government needs
