Describe your company's current technology and solutions
We created a mobile app, called Javelin, that helps save time and effort for sports groups and players. Javelin provides groups a communication and scheduling tool that helps people get active. We are currently building a pre-game health checklist within our mobile app for sports organizations to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 when sports return to the province.

Are you aware of any current government challenges or opportunities that would be addressed by using your technology solution? Or a future need you can identify?
The mobile app can be used for events with the City of Toronto. Javelin Sports has experience organizing and running one off "pick-up" events. We have worked with various different organizations to offer these events including 105 Gibson community centre. Javelin Sports can list the City of Toronto's events in their mobile app and provide players a way to fill in the health checklist through the app prior to going to events.
Organizations that can use this: Community Centres, Golf Clubs, Tennis Clubs. Javelin Sports can also build a feature that lets any organization (restaurants, museums, parks, barbershops, yacht clubs, yoga studios, gyms, community centers, offices, child care centres, schools, etc.) track checklist responses from their attendees. This feature will function by allowing organizations to list themselves in the Javelin App. Any time an individual wants to visit an organization, they simply search for it in the Javelin App, and then fill in the checklist for themselves and sign the waiver. The checklist will track the individual's health status in the same way the Javelin App is currently tracking a players' health status. This will provide organizations a papertrail of their attendees responses. A report of this can be sent to the city of Toronto to help with contract tracing (e.g., individuals got sick after they visited x location).

As the COVID crisis continues, please describe specific opportunities where your technology might support Canadian needs / government needs
We can leverage our health checklist and waiver solutions to help venues, schools, daycare centers, and different organizations come back in a safer manner.
